Megatouch in MAME

I know a few people here use MAME so was hoping i could get some help.

Has anyone managed to successfully get the Megatouch XL 6000 set running? I can't run them in MAME, it keeps giving me a "CHD image is missing" But they load in MAMEUI, when the game does load to its main menu there appears to be no games listed at all, go into the service menu & the menu to change the games has nothing listed!

Yes i do have the associated CHD's but still no dice :(

Hi Guys

I would like to introduce myself as a new member,  Im rob i live in Cyprus and a retired  carpenter.

Iv just finished my latest project which was a full size touch screen Wurlitzer jukebox  for the bar in my house.

My next project is a full size fruit machine and i so hope you guys can put me in the right direction, The cabinet will be an easy build as this was my job but the inside im not so sure what would be the best equipment to buy ???  I looked at a dual monitors system but have played around with 2 monitors and this didn't look to good . I have also also played around with a 32" flat screen tv monitor with better results  ie full screen worked well... Im not looking for this to be coin operated but i would like to add buttons to control game play    but im sure you guys can put me right.

Really im looking for ideas if any of you guys have made your own homemade cabinet with monitors i would love to see some pictures

Thank you guys for any tips & advice

Keep up the good work amazing website

So we all know when you buy second hand, if it fails you're screwed - but are we now buying machines that like replicants only have limited lifespans ?

Hi i uploaded my King Kerching classic layout about 2 days ago and I was thinking....How long does it take for a file to be approved before it is able to be made public?

Now i know it may be down to if the admins are busy or not But that also raises the question. Are these retrictions removed after releasing a number of files?

I am not moaning and i understand if people are busy, i would just like to know for future reference

Thanks :cute:

Can someone help?

I have a BFG Family Guy machine and I'm looking for some Cat. D decals. Is there a company I can get them from? I've tried BFG and they don't sell to the public.

If you have any ideas that would be great.

Cheers

I've nearly got my externals done now. Very simular setup to uptowns MFME cabinet. Just needs one bit of ply painting and my Perspex to put over the whole lot.

If anyone was thinking of doing this, the old JPM cabinets perfect. 27" screens fit nicely.

Also a rubbish video but shows lights working in conjunction with emulation.
I know this has already been shown now but just thought I'd give it a share?

Anyway enjoy. Have to say thanks to reg. once I saw his video of virtual buttons it kicked my butt into doing this. Nice one.

Flyers, flyers and more flyers

Hi All

I have started uploading small versions of the zillions of flyers I have from 20 years in the industry. There are a lot of crap ones and loads of foreign AWP machines (since that's what I used to code, mainly).

I started a gallery (edwardb machine flyers) but not sure if this is the right place? If anyone wants a high res scan of a flyer then let me know.

Some right classics in there....and some games that flopped miserably!

Hi all, does anyone have any good images of this machine? or even the proper flyer? There's a flyer in the gallery but it only has the reel images on it,that isn't even big enough quality to use for the reel images. Is a fav of mine and would love to see a huge dx of this game, thanks.
