Vegas Baby
Something I never dared do back in my addict days, but off to Vegas for 10 nights. Been 11 months from booking to finally going, so seemed like an eternity.
Looking forward to not being restricted to a dozen slots like in the UK casinos, as well as a few drinks of course.
Probably come back a stone heavier as well.

NIFTY FIFTY DX
A little while ago SteveP approached me and asked if I'd be willing to take this one on as it had been personally requested by Wizard. Nifty Fifty was the first emulated fruit machine and gave birth to what we know today as MFME. After the seventeen years of enjoyment MFME has given me I was more than happy to do this and I dedicate this release of a cracking old Barcrest classic to Wizard.
Big thanks to SteveP for encouraging me to do this, Ploggy, Reg & SteveP for testing. After seventeen years this machine gets the release it deserves, if you are in a position to supply resources to preserve other classic machines then please get in touch.

guitar tech help wanted
hi folks i was wondering if we have any members that are any good with guitar electronics and soldering etc... i`m about to start restoring my 70`s Fender Stratocaster,but i want to give it a mod with a difference... the idea is to replace the Fender pickups with Burns mini tri sonics and to wire them each with an on/off switch and an in/out of phase switch (see pic)... im no good at all at soldering or reading schematics. i dont mind paying for someone to do this for me once the guitar body itself is finished..

MFMEv 5 problem
morning all,
Been a long time since i last logged into FE and noticed quite a lot has changed in a cpl of years. Its great too see so many new layouts and MFME5.
I have read a few posts about people getting the DirectX Jun2010 red problem and I have also encountered this problem when trying to load MFME5. I have donwloaded DirectX from official microsoft download area, ran and installed it and STILL get the error message when opening MFME5.
Its getting on me moobs now. Can anyone point me in the right direction how to get around this please. I am running windows 10.

Stupid Problem
A silly question but I am having trouble with coins getting stuck in the coin tray chute on my new fruit machine. On collecting some will go into main tray but sometimes one gets stuck in the chute between the tray and the hopper coin out. The chute is made out of metal and is quite old and so it has become rusty. If one coin gets stuck any other coins will just get jammed up behind it. It is quite a small chute but it's getting annoying having to open up the top door to get the coins unstuck as light banging doesn't work.
Any suggestions?

Spurious and fraudulent paypal disputes and claims
The site unfortunately gets a regular supply of paypal disputes and claims started against it.
Sometimes this is because a donation takes longer than normal to approve. Whilst I can understand that this might be frustrating, in 99% or more of these cases the donator fails to try to contact me about it before they raise the issue with Paypal.
We fight all spurious and fraudulent disputes and claims strenuously and thoroughly, and we do not lose. However this takes up far too much of the little time that I personally have in which I could be working on this site.
If you start such a claim then you can expect us to take appropriate punitive actions necessary to protect the site and the company which exists to keep it funded. If appropriate and where legally possible to do so we will make evidence available to Paypal, banks and credit card providers, the police and Action Fraud.

Reel Glancing....
Good evening guys - and girls!
I have been lurking around for long enough to probably know this already, but i cannot find any topics related to this question... Are there any shortcut keys to reel glance? As in, can you pull the reels down to see what the next one fruit is gonna be? Seeing as squatting down and trying to peer under the artwork doesn't seem to work on the emulators! 
If not, then is it possible to implement?
Just want to say a massive personal thanks to all the devs, mods, and admin staff, on fruit-emu for all the tireless hard work, and long may it continue. I have been lurking for 14 years now, downloading and trying my best to learn as much as i can (the learning bit has not manifested itself very naturally, so i have been sticking to playing! 
)

Need help with mfme
So I wanted to play andy capp on MFME so I loaded it up but for some reason the reels aren't showing, I also can't scroll down to them or move the window to make them appear. I also tried this on JPM with sonic with the same result. I tried changing resolutions but it made no difference. Any idea what to do to fix this?

i have a new laptop which has windows 10 on but I can't get the fmfe 5 to work, please can someone help me. keeps saying 'xaudio2 initialisation failed. ensure that directx jun 2010 redist is installed'.
