Hi does anyone know how to control the speed on mfme 5 as this game is running really sluggish and slow, takes ages to spin the reals. Cannot possibly be my laptop as have 6gb ddr3 memory. Thanks.

Hey. Is there anyone that can dump a couple of Sound ROMs for the scene? I have received some sound ROMs for a machine we don't have the sound ROMs for. Does anyone who has a ROM reader mind me sending them over?

impulse's Double Impact layout help
hello,
i'm "hoping" to classic/dx this got all the lamps where they should be and buttons. but for the life of me i can,t get the hi lo reel to act right.
as you can see from the image It looks like a nine squared triple reel and there's four lamps per section but i can,t seam to get it set up right
can someone who knows better help me set that reel up then i'll be away

What layouts have we been playing tonight?
I have been playing Maygay Monopoly, put £30 through it, lots of feature boards, got to Mayfair 3 times but did not get the £6-00 Jackpot via 777 on the reels.
Love the music on this machine, has the likes of Yello- the race and Hazy shades of winter for nudges... nice ole machine i used to play in Leysdown back in the day. Happy days!

Rio Enhanced Cabs
Hi all, I have purchased a few £500 Rio's in the past and only ever had one game on real play, whereas other games have been on it but can only be played in demo?
Seen a few tatty ones on ebay with games all in ''real'' mode but does anyone have any idea as to how you go about buying a Rio from JNC (as a pure example) and having all games in real mode?
Do you need an extra part, or can you request this?
Sorry, not too technical on this, was wandering how it's done?

cannot save layout file
whenever i want to edit any meters for example the Simpsons £10 fruit machine it comes up with cannot save layout file after editing the configuration is there anyway to fix this to make it save the layout as i don't know what i am doing wrong thanks

Question/Request
Looking for a bit of help here, a machine I used to play, donkeys years ago, in my local arcade, but cant for the life of me recall its name, its the same sort of era as Bank Roll, all I can say is, it had 3 trails, of nudges, cash, and features, and the 3rd feature up was 'Mystery' which I'd always take as it would flat around the machine and give you something random, sometimes a higher feature, or high cash/nudges. But what's it called 
and is it available?
Also, I'm making a great collection of all the DOND's, but.. my 2 favorites of all time, are Hall Of Fame, and Walk Of Wealth, both are only available in classic - will these be DX anytime soon? Also, Think Red, it was a clone of Big Red, correct? is the latter available? not that it makes any difference

The real side to Gambling, FOBT and their bastard addictions.
*NB this thread has been created after speaking to those concerned.
I've been a member on FE for a while now, I have a fair few cyber mates via FME and some I have met in person some I haven't.
A few weeks ago I had a bloody great day out with James, we all know James as a Moderator here. I'd spoken to J a few times on the phone and we finally decided to meet.
The place we met at was a mutual interest 'aviation' not Gambling. Gatwick Airport in fact. We'd had a great day out, some Beers, Pics/Videos of some Planes and during the day a small 'tug' by the ARU as we must have appeared a little 'dodgy' lol.....Got to say they were Gems and they actually told us "Have a good day guys" after we'd slurred why we were there!
James and I had a real heart-to-heart with reference to Gambling and I thought I had an issue, after having spoken I realised that although I have a game fairly regularly I don't go to the extreme.

This thread isn't about 'me' but i've had calls and email in the past from Mr Barcrest himself about FME things, and all was pukka at the end.

Hi Guys
Do you know if its possible to run MFME on 2 screens? ie have the reels on 1 monitor and have to playfield / backglass ( is it called where the action happens ) on a 2nd monitor ? so it looks like a reel machine...reason for asking is that im considering alter my set up to look like a conventional machine and it would be awesome if this could be done.

a little help to a newbie
Can any body shed light on
1) how to make the game machine sounds louder ( and don't say turn your speakers up ) i would like to have a set level so all machines are at the same( ish ) level i've altered the effects and sounds to 255 in the config but that doesn't do the in game sounds...what and where do i need to alter.
for example in Tuttifruiti the sounds are quiet but in pac man they are very loud.
2) i'm thinking of putting this in a cabinet but when i run games ( F3) full screen they seem to display on different parts of the screen, do i need to down certain table types ( like i say i'm new so need a little help )
