Could a small tutorial be made for disc reel creation?

Is it possible for some one who's made a layout with a disc reel make a small step by step guide for us dummies who've not made a layout with one yet.
The reason I ask as hopefully dxing demolition derby and afaik it uses a disc reel.

I know on machines such as battle axe where the whole disc is visible you need to cut a perfect circle out of the art in order to make it run true, but what about machines such as cannonball run etc. Where the reel is only partially seen, i.e one section of it. Do you just cut n fill that section?

so ive been using mfme for just over 6 months, as a total novice I basically had to self teach myself how to set everything up which was an absolute ball ache made worse by the fact that I didn't know how to use a PC( the last computer I used was an Amstrad cpc back in 88) anyway I was hoping somebody here could help me do something, I can load nearly any game on any emu except for the older ones were the ROMS are separate, ime sure you have to merge the roms with the layout somehow but how?? any chance one of you could give me a very detailed step by step walk through on what to do and what to click and were.. TIA

Don't think this has been done.

I have a very early WIP for this machine, but can't find any pictures of it. Do we have any picture available for this machine?

Also the only roms I have don't include the sound. Any sound roms available for it as well?

Gambling Commission inviting views and comment on gaming on credit

https://consult.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/author/callforevidencegamblingoncredit/consultation/intro/

Closes 16th May 2019

Overview

In 2018 the RGSB provided advice to the Commission on online gambling which included recommendations on gambling using credit. The advice noted that gambling with borrowed money, including with a credit card, is a well-established risk factor for harmful gambling.

It acknowledged that online operators may not always be aware that a customer is gambling with borrowed funds, as money can be borrowed other than through credit cards for example, where a customer is gambling using an overdraft or a loan. While the variety of available forms of credit may pose some challenges for consumer protection, the key principle underlined by RGSB is that gambling with borrowed money significantly increases the risk that consumers will gamble with more money than they can afford.

The RGSB therefore recommended restricting consumers ability to gamble online with credit, including prohibiting gambling online with credit cards.

In the Commissions Review of Online Gambling we outlined our support for the principle that consumers should not gamble with money they do not have. We said we would consider restricting or prohibiting the use of credit cards for gambling, but that we would explore the consequences of doing so. We therefore committed to conduct further work in this area.

To help us develop our understanding of the issues we will be requesting information from a range of stakeholders including gambling operators and financial institutions, and we will be engaging with debt relief charities and consumers (for example those who have accessed services to treat gambling-related harm). Gambling with credit cards will also form part of the Commissions research priorities over the next year.

In addition to our data requests and engagement we are inviting all stakeholders to respond to this exercise, in particular to:

provide any information that will enable us to develop a comprehensive picture of gambling with credit cards, including the scale of their use for gambling and the risks associated; and
provide evidence of effective harm prevention measures that might serve as robust alternatives to prohibiting or restricting gambling with credit cards. These might include, for example, the full rollout of card-blocking facilities that enable consumers to block gambling transactions via their credit cards, or imposing account limits until operators have verified further information about the customer (for example, assessing the levels of gambling spend the customer might be able to afford), if such controls are demonstrably effective.
We will set out some detailed proposals for further consultation based on the evidence gathered from this exercise, and from our ongoing work in this area. However, in the absence of effective consumer protections to limit the risks of harm posed by gambling with credit cards, we will consider whether regulatory interventions such as restricting or prohibiting gambling via credit cards are necessary.

Still got a ROM issue

Sorry for being a pain in the bottom!

A brief outline so those who haven't read my previous posts understand what I am on about....

I have a BWB Super Hyper Vyper on 5p PLAY £6 ALL CASH Jackpot (MPU4 MOD2), I wanted to make it 10p play as it seems to be a better game on this stake.

Richy kindly donated some roms to me but I had to sift through them myself as it is time consuming finding the correct rom, I used MFME to try and figure out which rom I needed. Fruit58 from the MECCA kindly burnt me the rom(s) I have sent him.

The rom that Fruit58 burnt me which I thought was the correct rom ended up being tokens (I probably didn't test it thoroughly i.e. getting the jackpot to see if it paid it in cash or tokens).

My machine displays:

INIT HVP C
INIT HVP 3.0C

So obviously I want the cash rom.

I found a rom after looking again through the file Richy sent me and found the cash one, now my machine won't accept any money on that rom but will on the 5p rom (during the rom swapping I accidentally put the 5p rom back in the wrong way and blew that one, I know i'm a daft T***).

So after looking again and thoroughly checking the roms, I have a possibility of 3! Attached.

And this is my finding on the 3 attached....

hvi10___.3h3 <- Original ROM that went it to my machine that Fruit58 burnt me, doesn't accept money and hold buttons don't work but you can nudge!? Maybe a dip setting, anyone know which one it is, mine are all in the off position.

hvi10___.3n3 <- Reluctant to accept cash in the emulator, probably be the same on the reel deal unless the emulator is setup incorrectly?

hvi10___.3o3 <- Again reluctant to accept cash in the emulator, probably be the same on the reel deal unless the emulator is setup incorrectly?

Any ideas as i'm stuck! LOL.
